Baltimore being serious players for Dickey

Here's what I think is happening. Mets already have an acceptable offer for Dickey on the table. Considering the speculation regarding Toronto's fluctuating offer and the Rangers dropping out, I believe the Orioles are the team with that offer on the table.

The Mets are trying to force the Blue Jays to up their offer and they're only willing to do so if Dickey signs an extension, which isn't going to happen.

My prediction: Dickey is traded to the Orioles tonight. Book it everyone!

All those teams have much bitgger payroll than ours. If our owner won't increase the payroll to support these types of signings, we should make them anyways?

If they want Schoop you got to include him, last thing we need is the Jays getting Dickey. We can find another Schoop. We have the best international scout in the biz.

Schoop + Avery + Britton oughta get er done DD. Do it. Explore adding another team to the mix if the mets insist on a catcher.
