Peter Angelos's love of Dylan Bundy is resulting in him having a lot of money? Please, go on.

Not hard to, they probably already did, but the Dickey trade solidified that.

Aside from Bundy, machado and Gausman the O's farm system is weak and guys like Matusz and Arrieta have lost the prospect tag. Britton is a work in progress. Tillman may technically be a prospect but that tag is soon up. The O's best prospects are already on the team or are about to be. That can tell you how weak overall the system is.

Pretty sure Machado isn't part of the farm system with him losing rookie status and all last season. Unless you think he is going to get sent down?

Also

Schoop.

Bundy, Gausman, and Schoop are clearly the top three with a discernible drop after them. But, there are still some other pretty interesting guys in the system. Although they each have their question marks, Delmonico, Rodriguez, Marin, Wright, Davis (both Zach and Glynn) are guys that show promise. To be fair, Avery, Hoes, and Steve Johnson could fall into that category as well. All of these guys could be useful ML players.

Yes, but you don't trade "could be useful ML players" for "established young ML stars".

It's not the Orioles' willingness to trade those guys that is the problem - it's the fact that the rest of baseball doesn't buy into them as prospects anymore based on their major league success (or lack thereof at this point).

Nobody wants Britton, Arrieta, or Matusz. They want Bundy.

I'm sure most organizations would love to have Britton, Arrieta, or Matusz. As buy-low bounceback candidates they only have to part with a middling player or prospect to acquire.
