Am I the only one who thought Hammel actually looked pretty good yesterday? Anyone who thinks he shouldn't be starting has lost their mind. His stuff was as good as I've seen since last season. If Buck had pulled him and brought in Matusz to face Dunn I don't think any of us would be complaining about this outing. Danks just outpitched him and Hammel was in for one batter longer then he should have been. It happens.

Hammel gets one last start on Sunday to prove he belongs in the rotation. But I agree with your thought.

Hammel has looked pretty good lately IMO. I don't necessarily think he's deserved the results that he's gotten, especially in his last start, and the one @Toronto.
