The surprising number of runs the Yankees have scored is a legitimate story, as is the way they've played since being blown out by Boston in the first series of the year. I'm sure these will be major talking points during the broadcast. How did Vernon Wells go from being so bad to so good?

On Friday night, I was there in an Orioles jacket with a rally monkey around my neck. The jacket was orange in the front and the back with long black sleeves.

Very briefly, I took my jacket off so that LA 2 could take a picture of me in my Reggie Jackson jersey.

Gary Thorne is so good. I live in Colorado and have yet to talk myself into getting mlb.tv but I was just back on the eastern shore last week and could not get enough of the home team booth on tv. Went to the Sunday game at OPACY and thought (for a split second) about picking up some radio phones and being that guy.

I grew up watching the John Miller broadcasts but I like Thorns just as much.

I am pumped. I do not think it will be all Yankees because of Buck's connection with ESPN in the past. It will be nice to get a change of announcers and broadcast.

I do like games on ESPN or Fox to get a different take on the team. MASN is pretty balanced, not homers, but a second opinion is always good.
