Mike hates dumping assets, however meagre. But Povich should be here, at the very least. Why not Vespi? He’s doing very well, with a 1.05 whip in 10 innings. And he’s on the 40-man. Bring him up and dump Ramirez. He cannot possibly be worse. -
I don’t think you could’ve asked for the first three rounds to play out any better than it did for the Ravens -
Gotta upgrade the pen and see how Bradish/Means situation plays out. Then act accordingly at the trade deadline. -
Roy I want to like him if just for your sake. However at this time I cant say I do. I will have to give it time. It could be me. I hope he grows on me. -
This was a very winnable game, but you can't win close ones every night. At some point, your offense needs to score add-on runs. This offense is beginning to look like a feast/famine kind of offense, which is very discouraging. This team will never win anything with this bullpen. In today's game, you need a dominating BP to win. This has been a problem in 2022/2023 and is still a problem in 2024. This has been Elias' only shortcoming. -
Good luck finding any smoke and mirrors comments after his mostly dominant outings. Funny thing is, at 92-94 his command was impeccable and he was unhittable. Now the velo has been ticking up and the command has been getting iffy and then downright bad tonight. -
Baumann should go first. But really, just get rid of the whole bullpen and start over.
