Road Trip to Orioles Spring Training in Sarasota, FL! (Post here if you are going to ST)

I look forward to your epic Sarasota tales.

Unfortunately we're not making the trek this year. I'm still recouping from the wedding and other financial handcuffs keeping me from making the trip.

BroAndrew might be going down solo, but he probably won't decide until the week before and end up sleeping out of his car, scalping tickets and eating bologna sammiches covered in sand.

I PM'd Living Legend, but weams you might be able to make it happen for me....I've collected a ST shirt from each of the past 2-3 years and I'd love to have one for 2K14. PM me if you think it'd be possible for you to pick one up for me. I'd repay you at one of the OH night games for the cost of the shirt plus a round or two of beers.

Even a blind squirrel..... Gotta agree overall, but Hooters Oysters are usually pretty good. Crabby Bills & Frenchies, located throughout the Clearwater, St Pete, Tampa area, has specials ($5 a doz) occasionally, and on food & drinks...... and fun Happy Hours. :hearts:

Stone crabs (It's just a bunch of claws) are seasonal, but rival lobster in taste. Lately, besides cheap booze from Albertson's supermarkets, we have been getting Maine Lobsters $6.99 lb, Lg scallops $9.99 lb, Salmon $5 lb and having seafood fests @ home. Local Sav-A-Lot had Porterhouses and boneless Rib Eyes for $5 lb, so now we also "Surf & Turf" it @ home and occasionally when staying in "equipped hotels," to stretch drinking/partyin' money. :2yay-thumb::2yay-thumb:

We are willing to do a Hangout & Friends Tailgating Party (HFTP for short) , especially on Sun Mar. 9, before the O's/Pirates game (cheap tics available on Stub Hub).

Hey Weams, how about a roll call sticky for ST games. :agree:

BroPhil - What was the name of the Kereoke place, where I did "Who let the Dogs Out" ? :clap3::clap3:

If Karaoke was last year, I missed the trip so BroMatt or BroAndrew would have to recollect that story.

I totally forgot about mentioning the Dog track. Definitely worth a trip on Friday night.

2 greyhound tracks getting shut down .......12 dead dogs @ each last few months. One greyhound dies every 3 days now down here - bad stuff.

A couple of years ago - Big Bobmc third from left. Hopefully, (the soon to be newlywed) Hank does not enter this sinful retreat!

I am going to have one extra ticket for the games on March 7th & 8th. One of the guys in our foursome had to bail. If anyone is interested in the ticket, just let me know! I think both tickets are in 211 and the added drawback would be you have to sit with us.
