Indiana has a ton of talent. I have no idea how they ended up 9-9 in the conference. They scare the crap out of me. Good luck to them in the tourney.

I agree. Glad we got by them. I thought our defense was fantastic in both halves. But I'm sure it helped that they could switch out and stay with their switches in almost all cases because of the size match ups. Still they were fantastic.

I agree that they're a good team but I don't know if they're in the tourney. I think they've really underachieved this year.

I hope we get to play Wisconsin again. I'd love to get another W against them. There's no way we won't get a 2 seed if we beat them again.

Wow what a RIDICULOUS foul call against Smo. The Indiana player dribbled right out of bounds!

I know that I am biased when it comes to Smo and I agree that was a bad call, I do think Smo had him trapped and just needed to move his feet a little more and not have the body contact at all. Still Smo did fairly well today, solid minutes.

You're probably right. They were talking about them probably being an 11 seed. I could see them blowing out a 6 seed in the first round.

It was his best game in a while. He made 4 big free throws.

Good question. But he played 12 minutes against Nebraska so it was probably more that we did not need his size and needed to keep up with the speed of Indiana.

Still Smo did fairly well today, solid minutes.

Have to give Smo credit, he really contributed this game.

Whole team looked focus, they've been starting games strong lately which makes such a huge difference. Glad we're still undefeated in close games as well.

      My post was in response to one stating that people were saying the O’s finally had a Game 1 starter in October. My point was that none of those guys are Game 1 playoff starters (obviously SSS) and I would feel better about a healthy Bradish “shutting down” a team at this point than I do Burnes just because his success this year has been more predicated on weak contact than K’s, which I think has been a tad disappointing.  He’s still an ace though and I’m really happy he’s an Oriole. Last year his K% spiked almost 6% in the 2nd half so hopefully that happens again. A near 30% K rate with the weak contact he allows would be scary. But you’re right, the BP and offense have done him absolutely no favors this year and any complaints about him are more so nitpicking on how he could be even better. He’s still awesome.

      Nice summary.   Levi Wells last two starts combined. 7 IP, 4 hits, 3 walks, 1 run, 13 strikeouts.  Getting better.  Frankly, he looks better than Baumeister to me but Baumeister is bigger and younger so who knows.

      Stowers can't play CF.  I guess Hays or Cowser could cover it for a fee days.  The O's don't even have an average MLB CF in upper minors/majors other than Mullins.  It's why McKenna gets chance after chance.  I think this might be one trade Elias has to make early.  Prepare to be underwhelmed.  Think slightly better McKenna.

      I agree that Cowser needs to make some adjustments. But I don't know if Gunnar is the right comparison. Gunnar Henderson is a much better/more talented player than Cowser. Gunnar's ability to adjust as soon as he did may not apply to Cowser.

      Yes, good point, 8 out of 154 people voted that way, though I suspect at least a couple of them were just being contrarian for the hell of it.
