7:59pm: Hector Olivera may also be involved in the deal, MLB.com’s Mark Bowman tweets. Olivera is indeed in the deal, Bowden tweets, and Braves reliever Luis Avilan will also go to the Dodgers, Bowden tweets. Atlanta will receive a major league reliever and another minor league arm of some type, Sherman tweets. And the Marlins’ competitive balance pick, which had been slated for the Dodgers, will go to the Braves. Sherman adds on Twitter. (This is probably why the original deal had to be held up for the Braves to move in, as comp picks can only be traded once.)

Starting to add up for ATL.

So the Braves are giving away Wood, Peraza, and JJ, and all they are getting is Morse (garbage), Oliver's (may be good but he is a 30 to rookie), and maybe a comp pick?

Doesn't add up for Atl. There has to be more to it we don't know

Appears to be a three-team trade, right? So I'm pretty sure there's more to it than that:

The Braves are set to trade starting pitcher Alex Wood and reliever Jim Johnson to the Dodgers in exchange for prospects while also receiving first baseman Michael Morse and a compensatory pick from the Marlins, Fox Sports reported on Wednesday.
