Right, the wildcard teams should be penalized. You had situations where the wildcard team was in a better position then a division winner.

Wildcard couldn't play their own Division opponent in the first round. Back around 98-03 that was an advantage when the Yanks were rolling.

I guess at least this year he's physically there, swinging at everything and missing a lot of things. Occasionally running into one.

His counting numbers, right now, are good enough to get a very nice deal.

Bad Davis doesn't mean he's going to turn into Hardy, he'll still hit a few out.

The team played a great series vs a lousy Oakland team and even then, had to come back for wins(but I give them credit). Since then, they have played mediocre baseball against lousy road teams.If they lose today its just a .500 home stand. Not nearly good enough in a drive for the playoffs.

Sometimes you have to get your stuff kicked in to get it together and win. You learn for your mistakes.
