So, there are lots of problems tonight. I'm not saying this is the only one or even main one, but I really don't understand what Wieters is doing with his pitch calling.

Who would intentionally call a straight change on the inside part of the plate to Longoria?

Who would intentionally call 5 straight inside fastballs to Forsythe?

Who would EVER call an inside fastball to Arencibia? He only hits the fastball. He is terrible against breaking pitches.

I know everyone hates Gausman's curve, but the few times he threw it tonight it look pretty good to me. I just HATE the way Wieters handles Gausman.
