Maybe the Rays should change then why should we change to them. Plus Pena will catch first game with Gausman while Tilman will have Matt catching who he loves throwing too.

Matt caught last nights game. Typically catchers don't catch a day game after a night game.

It is a big deal. You don't want Matt catching a day game after a night game. The real mistake was not pitching Tillman last night and Gallardo today. Tillman does worse with an extra days rest while Gallardo could probably benefit.

1) Tillman is facing their best starter, Odorizzi. The guy starting game 1 was bumped to the bullpen several weeks ago and is it starting due to the doubleheader.

2) Buck mentioned on the pregame something about wanting Tillman to start at night. Not sure why but that's what he said.

He can pitch to Pena, I'm sure. He likes to pitch to Matt, apparently, though.
