Fair enough. My only point is that Ramon really didn't do anything different than every other ballplayer. He just saw the play wrong so it caught up with him.

Ramon has always had a habit of flipping his bat and taking really slow home run trots. Most major leaguers (and players at any level) get out of the box a lot faster than he does on homers. I don't think that play that happened to him would have happened to most players.

Wow the O's are attacking Saunders early in the at-bats. Is that the work of a scouting report showing lots of first pitch fast balls or just indicative of our usual impatience?

Good question. Saunders' numbers aren't stellar before today. And today ain't lookin' so good...
