No it doesn’t answer the question. The question was, if you can’t throw strikes consistently, can you be a successful ML starter. That’s a simple question for you to answer. Can you be an adult and answer it? -
Here’s the 6th inning: Fly out on a 1-1 count Walk on a 3-1 count (4 balls total) Strikeout on a 1-2 count Single on a 1-1 count Strikeout on a 2-2 count I only count 9 balls there, so I’m pretty sure he meant 12 strikes, 9 balls. (Edit - he’s since confirmed this) -

Ramirez made it all the way to us when the Mets DFA’d him that means pretty much every other team passed on him. Did he do anything to make another team say oh wait I think we need this guy now. I didn’t see anything he looked like run of the mill reliever imo. I think it better gamble he makes it through waivers then Baumann does so I would try him to get through. -

Sacrificing the good of the team to keep around a mediocre player like Ramirez makes zero sense. Sending Akin down, with the way he’s pitching right now, would be incredibly stupid.
