What do you see as Holliday and Mayo's long term positions? -

I didn't hear the comment but "considering playing CF" is different than a position change. Could be just trying it out to see if it might be an option. Santander is gone next year, Mullins has been sucking since last July, and Hays is a ticking time bomb. Would be good to have some extra depth there. -
He was between 95 and 96 the other night. Hopefully, it has something to do with warming up differently and he can do 96-98 in a one inning role eventually. He needs to get a few tips from his brother. -
Right, I think it would be smart to consider/try the position change. It is the timing that makes no sense. If they do it, I think that means we won't see him until September at the earliest unless it goes incredibly well or Mullins is done or injured.

I get that. I understand why you might make the change eventually. But why discuss/make a position change now?

Great post. A lot of good info. My argument is winning builds a brand more than a single player. I never said anything about low payrolls. I caution against making emotional decisions by signing fan favorites to long term expensive deals…..Kinda like How KC signed Gordon to a long term expensive deal in 2016 right after winning the WS in 2015. As stated in your post, it didn’t work out. Now, if we could somehow pull off the 7 year 26MM deal Perez signed early in his career, sure go for it. But I don’t think anyone will be willing to do that. @Yossarian how’d I do? -
I think they can’t be that sure at this point. If Bradfield becomes that good then that would be a good problem to have.
