Surprisingly they all have terrible numbers in the minors. Wright has the best ERA in the low 4's. Yet we've managed like 4 QS from them.

Jim Palmer has always stated that the ball used in MiLB is different than the ball used at MLB hence the change in the pitch-ability of some players as they adapt back and forth.

Our SP depth has struggled at Norfolk but is 4/4 with quality outings with the O's.  If Ynoa has a good/decent night, looks healthy, then that might give us some options for the the MLB rotation.  

Our Rotation depth right now is probably,

1.  Asher- would weaken the pen though.  

2. Ynoa- next start on 5/25

3.  Kipper- Aquired for Damien Magnifico.  3 GS in AAA.  18.2 IP 0.96 ERA Only 4 K's 3 BB's Sinkerballer

It's true. The minor league baseballs are more slick, even with the mud, and actually feel like they are wound tighter.

We are getting to a point where I would rather see a young guy over the failing vets. I wish they had more depth in the minors. Losing hurts.
