According to this page, and a few others, it's indeed him. He was also in a few other films, like the awful Robin Williams movie "Jack", "Angels In The Outfield" and an episode of Nash Bridges.

That page is Wikipedia. Somehow I don't think that carries more weight than Smith himself saying it's not true.

That could be a mistake, in that whomever filled out the imdb profile of that child actor accidently plugged in the Orioles' Seth Smith's facts.

 

IF IT'S NOT A MISTAKE, and there were actually two different Seth Smiths born on the same day, year, and Mississippi city, then that is stranger than the fact that Ken Griffey, Jr. and Stan Musial share the same birthdate ...... and were also born in the same small town of Donora, PA.
