Flash has reached a point for Baltimore where it would be in their best interest to move on and find a cheaper utility player. 

I wholeheartedly agree with you. He's making $1,800,000 this season! I would prefer they spent somewhere closer to the MLB minimum salary on a younger player who is better defensively at Shortstop. Sure, Flaherty has power vs. RHPs; meanwhile, he can't hit lefties to save his life. I think the team would benefit more from a player who could play SS and 2B almost equally well, can get a base hit in a pinch-hitting situation, has more foot speed and could pinch run to make up for the decrease in power.
