The unbalanced schedule really affected him. Every other start was against the top lineups like the other AL East teams. He needed to go the NL and build his confidence up. Discover who he was. 
 

It was hard to hold him back and I don’t fault Buck. We were in the playoff hunt and the dude had the best stuff on the team.
