I dont know much about MLB testing. But, former NFL players, said the NFL system is such a joke, only a total clown gets caught.

I liked to think, Davis was a case, when he was used to taking a doctor prescribed RX for a legitimate condition, and the MLB changed their banned list, and he didnt get the proper approval.

To me that is way different than somebody like Bonds shooting up to be bigger and better than anybody else.

Two.   At the time, the regimen was a warning on the first failed test, suspension on the second failed test.  The punishments have gotten stiffer since then.

You don't get suspended for one failed Amphetamines test.

Ortiz was never suspended.

He was dirty for Steroids in the survey test.  Again, rumors that he had a positive overturned with a lost B sample. Or rather, possibly compromised.
