These are small sample sizes, especially to be comparing year to year, but he's decreased his O-Swing% and increased his launch angle (that looks to date back to last year but he didn't get a lot of runway to work with).

Hard to believe "don't swing at balls" isn't a more popular change in hitting approach.

As it turns out, this team wouldn't be half bad if the front office had done a little more in the off season to find some decent relievers and a couple of back-of-the-rotation starters.

I posted this in the game thread, when the Orioles still had a comfortable 12-5 with the bases loaded with Rangers lead during the fiasco in the final half-inning ........ but I never would have thought that Severino's 3rd home run of the game would literally wind up being the difference !!! )
