Straily DFA'd, toiling at AAA

They could have at least waited a half hour after letting us know  Straily had been given the ole DFA to enjoy that before letting us know the bad news about Means.  Who take his spot in the rotation?  What is Jimenez up to?

Means is huge.  We don't even have a pitching staff that can get AAA guys out.  I can say that confidently because outside of Bundy, Cashner, Givens, and Fry, the whole staff has pitched there and got pretty much hammered.  

This is a dark time.  Hopefully, a clear cut #1 pick emerges for next year's draft.

I haven't been this emotionally confused/conflicted since Cal Ripken said Adrian Beltre was the best 3B of all time.

I suppose it could have happened a little sooner, but the O's really didn't spend all that long screwing around with delusions about Straily.  Progress if you ask me.

They will have to go with a 4 man rotation and play the DD roster shuffle game. Two off days next week. Then off day July 4. Then 3 games then ASB

This team can’t catch a break. Bleier does well until his arm blows up last year. Means does well and now he gets a “shoulder strain”. Who replaces Means in the rotation?

I can’t even get a sense of relief now that Straily is gone.
