Does Hunter always get so excited when there are more than 5 pitches to any one batter?

Maybe.  But in relation to him being a homer, listen to highlights by any other team's announcers.  If you think he's bad most of them are far worse in that regard.  I know you weren't talking about his homerism, but I thought I'd say it anyway.

I guess they are taking Eshelman out after only 75 pitches. Wonder why they would pull him early.

It might have something to do with the two rockets that left the bat on the final two outs.

Runner on 3rd with less than 2 out (none out to be exact).  If we don't get him in Roy will have a mental breakdown.

No need, we got a single to drive him in.  "Roy my man, everything is okay."

Any at bat by an all-star is by it's very nature an all-star at bat.

An at bat by a non all-star by it's very nature can not be an all-star at bat.

What if a guy who was not selected for the A-S team has a real good at bat, and the next day he gets added to the A-S team due to an A-S 's injury. Does that good AB retroactively become an all-star at bat?

Sorry, no.

Unless the game is suspended and picked back up later after the all-star game.
