This is where I think the Orioles lose something by having an inexperienced manager. Is Hyde going to go after Davis for not running, or let the team know that their effort tonight sucked? If he does ream them out, will they care?

The Orioles keep saying that if a guy doesn't produce, they'll bring someone up to take his place. That well has pretty much run dry.

I think it is much harder now. GM’s run the game and guaranteed contracts. 

Hyde doesn’t look like someone who ignores things. He has been pretty outspoken.
