Obviously he has a weak glove ...12 errors in the outfield. He was an 800OPS guy two years ago. They probably will just promote Tyrone Taylor who give them similar production at the minimum.

His power would play up at OPACY. His defense is bad, but how much worse than Dwight Smith Jr.’s?  Would be fun to pick him up on a 1 yr min deal.

He's a DH and made $2 million last year. I'm sure playing here for the minimum would be a last resort

NPB pays better than the KBO and it doesn't pay well at all by western standards.  In 2018 only two teams had an average salary of over 1M.

I was looking for the average that an American player gets in Japan.....In 2018 Dennis Sarfate got 4.5 million!
