How is his defense? I hear a lot of his offensive stats and projections, but our brass puts emphasis on middle infield defense. Does he project to have MLB caliber defense and arm?

I really don't mind a light hitting, run scoring, solid defensive SS/2B.

Bottom line is if he recovers from his shoulder injury of 2007, he can stick at SS at the ML level.
