Does someone need to check on Cobb?

I seem to remember him having to leave a game early at the end of Feb cuz he wasn't feeling well.  He hasn't pitched in a game since, right?

Now it looks like a blister is causing him to miss his scheduled start today.

Has anyone gone and checked the seam height on the balls for this year?   I know that's been an issue for him in the past...………...

Reports are that they are higher than last year.

Is it against rules for a pitcher to wear a glove? Cobb must have the most delicate fingers in all of baseball.

Aaron Sanchez begs to differ.  That dude pitches an inning and his finger looks like Nazis melting at the end of Raiders of the Lost Arc.

He threw 4 innings in a simulated game on the 6th, so he was healthy enough to do that.   Hyde claims that the blister was very small and in a regular season game he would have gone today.

He pitched a sim game today.   They just didn’t want him on the road or in circumstances where he might not be monitored as carefully to make sure the bluster doesn’t get worse.   They did something similar with Wojo before.

some pitchers like thin skin on their finger tips, helps them with a feel of the ball in their grip
