2020-'21 FA Shortstops

Interesting MLBTR piece on next year's FA class at the SS position. The big money will be bidding on Mookie but there are a bunch of elite SS's coming available too. Despite improving the farm system, SS is still a black hole for Elias. If we are ever going to spend money and build around a big FA, SS would be the position and this would be the year to do it. 

Lindor, Baez, Correa, Story, and Seager will all be hitting the market, all are under age 30.

Any chance we go after Lindor? If not Lindor, maybe Story or Seager? Tejada would something of a precedent.

Boy oh boy Lindor, Baez and Story will be expensive. But I certainly wouldn't be against trying to sign them.

Mookie is after this year, those SS after 2021. I can see some going after someone. Hope by 2022 we can being competitive.

Not good for these SS to have them all be FA at same position the same year.

Apologies, subject title should be 21-22. Actually that may work better for our timeframe.
