They have to lie. Kris Bryant lost because he couldn't prove the Cubs manipulated service time, even though everyone knew they did. If the team comes out and says it, there's the proof.

What lie? They do kind of have to maintain silence/plausible deniability in case of potential legal issues.

So my father, who you have met, worked with a guy at the hospital that took the time to write a Home Run Baker book and to have it published by a real company. it's fascinating. I have a signed copy. Not by Frank of course. By Barry. The author.

I'd just look at what he did in the surrounding years and figure it would be more of the same.

He have some serious issues if he thought Mountcastle's outfield defense needed work but was willing to let Smith play out there.
