#50THANNIVERSARY

On this day in 1970, Dave McNally went the distance in a 2-1 win over the New York Yankees.  McNally allowed the 1 run on 6 hits with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts en route to his 22nd win of the year.

Andy Etchebarren went 1 for 3 with a homerun, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.

Chico Salmon went 1 for 3 with 1 RBI while Paul Blair and Brooks Robinson each hit a double.
