That is saying that the difference is Jetsam was intentionally jettisoned and that flotsam was not right?  Because that has always been my understanding.

They'll all cry it but I think the Raisel trade shows us there will be Angels-type winners and Reds-type losers depending on how orgs really hold up to today's specific stress tests.   I hope there aren't many more where cashflow will weird the natural talent distribution, but I'm guessing before its over we'll see some more strange stuff.   I think the Orioles in their current state are neither fish nor fowl - if we're really strapped maybe it is manifesting in K-Vests and Rhapsodos more than fairly priced good MLB players.
