I'm usually not one to make a judgement on a small sample size but I don't think Wells is even worth keeping on the 40 this off-season.  Not if it means exposing someone to the Rule 5 draft.

Just doesn't seem to me he will ever be able to get MLB hitters out.

I'm not sure which is worse - his fastball or his curveball.

Just catching up now. Looked at replay of Hays throwing to Gutierrez who tagged someone out in  rundown between 2nd and 3rd base. Q: It looked like the throw from Hays got in in time for Gutierrez to throw home for a play there. But then he does this weird thing of turning back and  tagging third base. Or did he drop the ball and that's where it fell to and he grabbed it again there? Hard to see because of the camera angle. If the latter, it was a good opp. flubbed by Gutierrez. Or maybe Hays shd have just thrown home? Thanks.
