Lots of questionable picks in here but none more than Smith at 18 or Jones at 21.  He rates that highly but Pinto isn’t even in the top 30?

Yeah. Definitely some weird placements.

The one guy I can't get over, and it's not unique to this list at all, is Vavra. I just don't know almost anything about him, but on the surface he sure seems like he should be on this ML team very soon given his age/level and ranking.

Really gotta question the people doing some of these lists.

The only list I’ve seen with Smith in the top 20 was Eutaw Street Report which had him at 17.   Prospects1500 had him at 24, On the Verge at 27.   Tony had him at 37.   

Prospects1500 was highest on Jones, at 18.   On the Verge had him at 23.   He’s outside the top 30 for everyone else.   Tony has him at 45.   

My overall impression of MLB.com is that once you get outside of the top 200 prospects in MLB, they’re not digging very deep.

Rutschman is the #1 catcher

Rodriguez is the #1 RHP

Hall is the #7 LHP

Norby is the #10 2B
