Markakis clearly put in the work.  Never once did we question his conditioning or durability.   

I wish more players took the John Means approach and use the offseason to improve.  Those elite sports training facilities aren't cheap, and can put a major dent in the pocket of a players making league minimum, but they more than pay off if the improvement gets you big arbritration numbers and that eventual big contract.

Kremer going 3 IP today and not getting sent down is a pretty strong sign that he’ll be on the OD roster.

That is a tough call but I think I would incline toward keeping him as a starter. He still has hardly any AAA experience and even in AA seemed to take a step back in 2021.

I always wondered what Davis did in the offseason.  He didn't strike me as much of a hunter.  Maybe played fortnite.

Not a surprise that Bradish got sent down, though I think he’s ready. I guess we get to see Kremer hang more cutters. 2022 must be the year of the man bun. Sigh…My patience is thinning.

Baumann started last year on the injured list. He had a couple starts at a lower affiliate before being run through Bowie to “check off that box” as Elias likes to say. He really struggled at first before putting together an impressive string of starts that carried over to AAA. I’m really thinking forward to seeing him this year and I agree the AAA rotation is where he should start. It feels a bit like his prospect shine has worn off. I’d like to know why that is (I didn’t see him in his limited ML action last year.)

The arm injury hurt him.   It appears he has gained some of this velocity back this spring but he still needs to find his control and command.
