Moves I’d like to see this weekend

OK, six games out of the last wild card spot.  Its easier to say whoever is in that spot at the moment.

Has there been any discussion about going to a six man rotation once Rodriguez/Hall are promoted? Not advocating for it, just curious if that’s been talked about at all.

It also helps if you are playing well and not losing every game.  6 games back can quickly become 10 games back.

If you look at how they have been handling pitchers in the minors it would make sense if they did that.

I am going to be 100% on board the F Elias train if he doesnt come up this weekend

And catching too.   If he was at 1B or DH I would hold out hope he still might catch for us tomorrow.

But I don't think they will have him debut in Baltimore on his 4th straight day of catching.   Not based on how cautioiusly they approach everything.   So I don't think we see him tomorrow.

Seriously how much longer does Elias need to game Rutschman's service time. This dragging on far too long if Rutschman doesn't make an appearance at OPACY this weekend.

Agree.  Not happening tomorrow.  Guess Saturday is possible.

It isn't a set date.  It is possible we've already passed it but it isn't a guarantee.

It’s not happening Saturday. Otherwise, why not just rest him today and call him up tomorrow. It’s a shame these reporters just allow it to happen without pressing the issue with Elias and the Angelos brothers. Just sell the damn team if you won’t fund it.

Only logic would be they want him to catch 3 straight. Then day off.  Then comes up. He wasn’t going to catch all 3 anyway. So he would have had to DH one game. 
 

I also have tickets Saturday.  Influences my opinion.

I'm driving up Saturday to visit my mother in her nursing home Sunday in upstate NY.   I won't be able to see Sunday's at all, and would only be able to watch Saturday night's on my phone in the hotel room if the MASN app cooperates (which it didn't last time I was up there, but we were playing the Yankees, so I was able to watch the game on YES, but that won't work for me tomorrow night).

I may never see Adley in an Oriole uniform.

I originally thought he would be up tomorrow. Now I am beginning to think it won't be anytime soon, maybe September?
