If we were one piece away I'd risk it, but I think all 4 of those guys are going to be vital to the next contending squad

I think the best decision was staying out of it. No way the Orioles would have kept Soto with the money he wanted. So to build this system and sell 3-4 top 10 prospects would be beyond stupid especially when he doesn’t make this team a WS contender right now and it would cost  $450-500 mil to keep him.

Oh yea agree 100%.

What are the Dodgers giving up for Gallo a box of baseballs.

Is there any chance the Dodgers would have traded for Santander instead of Gallo?

Actually they gave up Clayton Beeter who was pretty hyped when drafted. Had excellent stuff but health was an issue. He still has excellent stuff, but the command is pretty bad. If he can't improve it vastly, he's a pen arm.

Not a bad return for a hitter who put up a .660 OPS during the last year as a Yankee.

I know you guys probably don't care, but man I love the return the Cubs got for Robertson. Ben Brown, huge pop up prospect, sitting 95-98 and just a few days ago was labeled as untouchable by the Phillies. Fantastic numbers in A+ and had just been promoted to AA.

Dave Dombrowski trading away his prospects in an attempt to win now some things never change.
