I certainly feel better with him up at the plate in a key situation than just about anyone else right now.   I hope it continues.   His AB's are as professional as Adley's.    Now, if it would just rub off on a few more.

Not to discredit Vavra's 3-bagger, but notice how lackadaisical Verdugo was with his throw from RF. He's acting like he's just lobbing it into the cut-off man to keep a runner at first base and the arc is high and slow. Very strange, since a snappier lower throw in, which the infielder did attempt in his relay, might have made it very close. I guess that's the Bosox mood these days--they were lucky to have won. Wish we had capitalized on more of our scoring opps....
