It's weird seeing manager interviews in between innings and then I think what would have it been like if they did this in Earl Weaver's day. Earl definitely would have muttered a curse word or two if he had to talk to some sideline reporter before the start of an inning.

Not too much unlike 2016 when the Orioles got eliminated in the one game playoff against the Blue Jays. 

Yes, that 2016 loss (the Britton game) was one of the worst in Orioles history, but this loss today was one of the worst in MLB history.

This time Soto man on 2nd, 2 out comes around, with Diaz up there for Buck.

It isn't an intentional walk.    Diaz gets Soto on a dribbler.    19 pitches in the 7th for Diaz.

My thinking at the time was all pitch count dependent. Obviously score.
