Has Holliday starting in Delmarva.

They don't know anything. Just a clickbait article that should not have been posted before break camp rosters finish trickling out over the next 48 hours or so.

I guess there is no downside to him starting in Delmarva. I was hoping for Aberdeen but if he plays well, he’ll be there soon.

Elias has a pattern, he likes to start guys off at an easy level and finish the year with a challenge.

True.  It's also a not to the minor league affiliates by having him play at each level.

The thing I'm most interested in seeing from Holliday is if his game-power develops this season. Manny Machado was drafted at 17 and it took him a couple of seasons to come into real power, but he always had doubles power even when he was young; I'm not sure Holliday has proven that yet and this will be a good season to see him do so. I also know he's young and it's not fair to compare him to Machado (Holliday is the same age now as Machado was when Manny debuted in the big leagues, and Manny is likely heading to the HoF so that's not a fair comp), but its hard not to dream that Holliday might have something of a similar career trajectory.

Not really.   Holliday will be 19 years old this entire season. Manny debuted about a month after his 20th birthday, though it was his “age 19 season” in baseball terms because his 20th birthday fell just after the June 30 cutoff.  And, Manny had a season and a half of full season ball under his belt when he debuted. 

Anyway, I think we’ll see plenty of power from Holliday.  Let him get his feet wet first.

You are correct, that is a good point. I don't think my comment is a fair comparison overall, I guess my brain just kind of naturally went to it in hopes that Holliday can have a Machado-esque career but they have different trajectories based on circumstances so lets hope Holliday tears it up this season at multiple levels.
