No idea how they are doing it but he was also the guy who broke the Grayson news about being sent down. I think he had another story as well. 
 

I’m fine with Irvin. I just thought they could have picked their spots better with him early on. You can’t change your rotation around to avoid people but if you can avoid him in certain parks and lineups you do it.

Non- profit? The owner Stewart Bainum tried to buy the Sun but the private equity owner decided at the last minute not to sell. Bainum is worth around $250 million. They have gotten many of the best Sun reporters.  Just hired Jon Meoli.

By my count the O's were 26-24 in the last game of 2+ game series last year. But I think last-game losses tend to sting a bit more than average so they feel more memorable.

Took 3/4 but what a miserable series.  Our pitching is awful.  Defense is questionable at best.  Rooker ate our lunch, so did Peterson.  

Great to win 3, but on style points this was terrible.

Gibson, Baker, Coulombe and Bautista get to fly to Chicago. The rest of the pitching staff can walk.

Yep.   7-6 is nice but this team has issues.  Sometimes they work themselves out.   Currently I only trust Coulombe, Baker, and Bautista in the pen.  Perez is in a gray area.  No trust in the other 5 guys.

I can only expect a quality start from 2 of 5 starters.    You can’t make that many changes.   They just need to dig down and start performing better.

We really need Bradish to come back and pitch like he did towards the end of last year because right now our rotation is just putrid.

Better to have a not so good series against the A's than against a legit AL team. Things will get ugly if the pitching doesn't start to improve.

We have Gibson, Wells, and Grod? next. Thereafter, will be interesting. Heck, this weekend will probably be interesting. This was the worse three win series I can remember. I'm drained and it's still April. I guess if you like offense and lead changes - but it was the A's. If it makes you feel any better, up here in SUX COUNTRY, they are really agitated. Doesn't work for me but I throw it out there.

Agreed, but I’ll take 3 out of 4 no matter who the opponent is.

At least the bats were good, scoring 29 runs in 4 games.  Crappy opposing pitching, but at least they took advantage, for the most part.
