That is a little misallocation of the word.  Certainly there is opportunity cost in wasting talent.  But the Orioles are not necessarily doing that, AND you are skipping over the fact that there were opportunity costs in the acquisition of all of that talent.  The Orioles are doing fine.  We don't like all of the moves necessarily, but you're getting out over your skis a bit here.

Fun? Fact, in terms of feet v avg santander was better then hays last year

Santander isn’t fast, but for the last several years his route running has been elite. (He’s still overall below avg)
