I originally thought the McCann acquisition made a lot of sense and the Frazier acquisition made none. I've changed my mind on both. McCann reminded me of Severino on that last botched "catch."

It was a shirt hop bad throw.

In May he had ERa of 1 his whip was. .899 and teams were hitting .178.  He has been very good in May coming into today and it wasn’t like they pounded him today.

Time will tell, because I think they're giving Perez every chance to keep his spot. But there have been several outings this year where he has barely recorded an out.

He catches the ball like Mountcastle.  Just ineptly stabs at the ball.  Misses and looks awful

That was Severino's m.o. on handling pitches. No body movement or weight shifting. Just stick your arm out and hope the ball lands in the glove. Sometimes it does.

Something needs to be done to wake this team up. Not expecting perfection but maybe play slightly better than this ****show today

As to the hitting... we are just 4 games removed from a 10 game span vs LAA/Tor/NYY where we scored 57 runs despite facing Cole, Ohtani, Manoah, Gausman, and Cores among others in that stretch.

It's been frustrating as hell the last four days but slumps do happen.

Inexcusable lazy ass play by Frazier and McCann. This team is asleep and needs to be chewed out by Hyde.

Frazier double clutched-that's execution. The fundamental blunders continue with Bauman forgetting to cover  the plate.  He's not a good enough player to forget to cover with the infield in, maybe he will learn in Norfolk.
