Ump checked Gibson thoroughly after that inning for the sticky stuff. He was like there is no way this dude didn't give up runs fairly.

Exactly… i hate the term “innings eater” .. it inevitably describes a mediocre to lousy pitcher.  I liked the old term journeyman better or ragarm

Gunnar for whatever reason seems to have a ton of early strikes thrown to him.  Seems like he rarely is ahead of the count and mostly it’s because they throw him a lot of strikes.
