In case anyone’s curious, Cowser had 10 plate appearances vs. Vasquez while at Bowie last year.  4 for 9 with a homer, plus a walk.  Vazquez took two losses vs. Bowie in 2022.   He did not face Norfolk this year.

Was watching Grayson's outing from yesterday and would really, really love to have that ABS (automated balls and strikes) system in play.  So hard for anyone to have to feel cheated by a subjective call of an umpire.  I know, I know, that's always been part of the game and I've been in that camp forever, that it's the pitcher's job to adjust to an ump's strike zone as part of the game.  But it was so satisfying not to have to question the calls.
