We’re going to be picking late in the next several drafts. I believe this is viewed as a weaker draft. That was one of the reasons we came off the pick for Burnes. So I say sign him.

I guess it comes down to how much they like him and if they can agree on a dollar figure.  Someone said he was going to be in the mlb draft league but I didn’t see him listed on any rosters.

Small correction: Fabian received slot at pick 2b ($1,026,300)  https://forum.orioleshangout.com/topic/45160-2022-draft-tracker/. I believe the year the Red Sox picked him one ahead of the O's, the rumor was the O's were going to offer $3M. The Sox were offering slot, way less.
