IMO that's not enough. Cano has looked very shaky the last 2 months, at some point it be prudent to believe what the stats and eyes are telling us. 

Even if Fujinama is great as an 8th inning replacement, we still will be forced to use Cano in the 7th because he's still much better than the rest.

Same old Orioles. Just continue to hedge and do the bare minimum. Didn't even add a bullpen arm.

The Astros gave up the #1 and #4 prospect for Verlander. Would you have given the Mets, Holliday and Beavers for Verlander?

I think they kicked the tires and when the Mets wanted some combo that included Mayo, Ortiz, Norby, ect the O's hung up the phone.

It's clear the O's were looking around but weren't willing to give up any of their top prospects for a rental or "sell" them off like the Rangers and Astros chose to do. I'm happy they didn't. 

Maybe some of the shopping for a controllable starter they did materializes this off-season.

I don't know that Showalter makes the deal horrible, but as pitching starved as we are, I'd have liked to have kept the promising lottery ticket.

Feels like the starting pitcher equivalent of Fuji. Bad start to the year masking a pretty good pitcher? His Babib this year has been .346 which seems like its unsustainably high.

It's funny, but most of the board is complaining about not making a bigger aquisition, while simultaneously most of the board is complaining about giving up 3 legit prospects for Flaherty.

If we had to give up 3 to get Flaherty, can you imagine what they were asking for Cease?
