O's.   If they play like they can there is no need to worry about the other teams.   If they don't.............

I mean, you can realistically say this about every team in the AL East. There is plenty of time for a lot of changes in the division.

****ing Boston has won 5 straight.

They are better than a lot of people thought.   But look, every team in the AL East is good, and they’re all going to have their hot streaks.

The TEX-SD series this weekend is interesting.

TEX used a lot of emotional energy in HOU, pulling out the last game to avoid being swept and tied for the AL West lead, kind of the same as we used a lot of juice down in Tampa.     Now they are at SD (Soto was back in lineup and good last night), and without Jonah Heim, who strained a wrist, hit the IL and the Club traded for another catcher in about six minutes.     Eovaldi's back tomorrow, having had a turn skipped due to general fatigue.

The writing may be on the wall for SDP same as NYM, but until the GM does an action like NYM did to irk Max Scherzer last night, Hader and Snell and Soto and Manny are I bet looking at the Marlins and D'Backs, etc. as paper tigers.     Everybody who took the Dodgers out last fall is still there, and every October is precious.

I would rather the Red Sox make the playoffs instead of Astros or Blue Jays as a wild card team.    If we don’t make it it will be because we collapsed and only have our self to blame because of our lead.

Think of it as having a more competent henchman to bother the teams actually chasing you for a playoff berth.

Red Sox suck!     I believe it is eating Chaim Bloom on the inside maybe not to get to be doing the Trey Mancini deals to augment the Marcelo Mayer teams a few years out.

For a guy with Eovaldi’s injury past, general fatigue sounds Ike red flag.  Wonder if he makes it through the rest of the season.

Blue Jays Arms - Jordan Romano hit IL with the sore back that caused him to be pulled mid-inning last night.

Their hometown announcers just reported the Hyun-Jin Ryu return will be pivot to 6-man rotation to help them through 17 games in 17 days stretch that began yesterday.

The Ryu return 7pm Tuesday needs a roster move, and they noted that gametime is 1 hour after the real life deadline.

TOR in Matt Chapman's walk year some urgency as Bo/Vlad tick through Arb.

We've hit well against Ryu in the past few years, so hopefully he won't be pitching at full strength when we face him on Tuesday.

The Angels have rewarded the faith shown in them by ownership by looking completely lifeless while dropping the first two to Toronto.  Looks like they also lost Taylor Ward, their cleanup hitter, who took one off the eye today.

Wonder if they will reconsider dealing Ohtani  if they get swept tomorrow in Canada.
