I think you might see fewer cold streaks when the automatic zone is implemented. You can tell some guys who are trying to break out of slumps get frustrated by the umpires missing calls, which probably makes them press even more than they already were. Mateo or Cowser would probably be well served just waiting for their pitch right now, but it's difficult to do that when you never know what is going to be called on any given night.

I fully agree about Toronto being a great walking city.  I really loved it and we planned on going back in 2020 for an Os-Jays series.  Sometimes plans go awry, but I would've loved to have gone back.

I don't remember Blefary as a catcher. He caught in 66 MLB games, 40 for the Orioles, all in the 1968 season., when Earl took over in mid-season.

Kind of odd in NY.... Domingo German, who didn't start tonight due to "soreness under his right armpit" that was so bad yesterday that he couldn't play catch... Is now on in relief in place of Brito, who started in his place and got shelled.
