Well, 6 innings 3 runs.   Certainly not Bradish's best effort, but a quality start vs a decent lineup.   Certainly an improvement over last week in Philly, and he got better as the game went on.

Personally I am happy we didnt give away any of the top prospects in the system.  

I think it was a reasonable deal, and I think he will definitely  help us just because we have so many question marks in terms of starting pitching, with guys pitching more than they ever have.

I had hoped we got a reliever too.   I think they are working on turning both DL Hall and Tyler Wells into relievers  who will help us down the stretch and perhaps into the postseason.

So Flaherty is a decent acquisition, but I was hoping for more.
