Keep in mind that we’re pitching our #5 and #6 SP this series and SEA is pitching their #1-3.

I like Irvin tonight.

The Orioles will miss Seattle righthander Logan Gilbert, who might be the Mariner starter in Game 1 of a postseason series.

Bryce Miller entered the season seventh on the Seattle depth chart but has supplanted Robbie Ray, Marco Gonzales and Chris Flexen. Bryan Woo and Emerson Hancock are close behind.

Bradish needs to deliver tomorrow.  Our bullpen might be a little short.

Hopefully this game cools Seattle off a bit.  Maybe a bit of a backbreaker to lose a game like that...playoff type atmosphere, King Felix's night, packed house, Kirby was dealing...and they lost.

Zero chance we lose tomorrow

Having survived Castillo-Kirby for a split these 48 hours, it reminded me of the best of 3 wildcard experience

https://www.baseball-reference.com/postseason/2022_ALWC2.shtml

They took the wind out of Toronto sails in October same as we did for one night.    Castillo shoved, Kirby got the Save in a high scoring game Robbie Ray flubbed.

Three quarters of a season later, Adam Frazier and his pesky contact skills remain the author of this single play that for the moment before it happened was the high water mark of the Vlad Toronto teams October success.

The last time we saw the Mariners, they crushed Kyle Gibson in game one, we won game two in extra innings, and Bradish won game three.   So far, things are holding true to form.  Now Bradish needs to get us the W on Sunday.

It’s almost like things would only align this way during this magical season. I hadn’t thought about the M’s roughing up Gibson the previous series or even the events of following said roughing up of KG but man, it’s kinda wild to have that line up again this way.

I wish the O’s and M’s (and maybe they did) had discussed a deal for some of their pitching coming to back for some of the O’s position prospects. It seems like they are an ideal trade partner for the O’s.

Close enough.  Excellent game by Bradish that put us in position to win, even though he wasn’t involved in the decision.
