I don't know why everybody is complaining about Irvin, it's not like he can give you bulk relief every night or every other night. The problem is the starters going 4-5 innings every night.

It has been a miserable last week to be an O's fan...however, they still are in first place and the Rays will hurting with Lowe being lost for the rest of the year and Arozarena possibly being hurt too

Nah I prefer Seinfeld to losing poorly played walk offs in a playoff race to crappy teams.

The team could be in the middle of a long losing streak… not overreaction. Too many demoralizing losses in a row can sink a team for a while. Maybe Cleveland is satisfied and calls the dogs off… that’s the only thing that might prevent a sweep.

Cleveland deserved this.  For people ticked at their fans and their reaction, be happy. When you are the best team in the American League teams are tuning for you and take pride in beating you.

Well if you have a true long reliever capable of covering 3-5 innings that’s one less day that you have to use 6 relievers

I think you’re correct. They need a starting pitcher to step up pretty desperately. Bradish did but they could only muster 1 run in the Houston finale. 

They need a couple of long starts the next two days prior to the day off.
